I have always had a fondness for taking photographs. It started when I was a little girl, every chance I had to sneak my Mom and Dads camera away. . . I did! (I am sure they were just as amused as I was to find the camera full with photos of our family dog.) Holding that camera in my hand and feeling the shutter open and close with just one click, I knew I had fallen in love with photography. These days, I live and work as a lifestyle & wedding photographer on Vancouver Island, Canada.

 

My approach to photography is simple: when I look at a picture I have taken, and I can remember the exact moment in time, the feelings, the lighting, the smells and sounds, I know I have done my job. This is what I love, while life is flashing before us, I am making sure the memories are here for a lifetime.

 

When I am not taking photos, I am likely painting, baking or walking my dog, Nova. I love the beach and the forest and feel so fortunate to have both in my life.
